Smart Buildings
ABB i-bus® KNX and BMS integration across lighting, HVAC control, blinds, façade lighting and metering — with energy reporting that shows exactly where a building spends its power.
Smart buildingsSmart building automation, HVAC, complete MEP and mission-critical data centre infrastructure — designed, built and proven by one accountable contractor from our head office in Al Misfah, Muscat.
Capabilities
Cost and time are lost where one package meets another and nobody owns the join. We hold MEP, automation, climate and mission-critical infrastructure in one company — so those joins are coordinated in design, not argued on site.

ABB i-bus® KNX and BMS integration across lighting, HVAC control, blinds, façade lighting and metering — with energy reporting that shows exactly where a building spends its power.
Smart buildings
Complete mechanical delivery, from the load model to commissioning: chilled water plant, district cooling interfaces, AHU and VRF systems, and pre-insulated ductwork fabricated in our own Kingspan-authorised facility.
HVAC solutions
The full mechanical, electrical and plumbing package — as a specialist subcontract under main contractors and EPC firms, direct for developers and owners, or as main contractor where the scope suits it.
MEP capability
Power, precision cooling and monitoring for colocation, enterprise and hyperscale facilities — delivered inside live halls without disrupting operations, to Uptime Institute and TIA-942 design intent.
Data Centre capability
Live 3D
New — interactive
Walk through a two-storey villa, switch scenes from an ABB SmartTouch® 10 panel and an ABB Yurika keypad, watch every light, blind and lock respond — then get an indicative budget for your own built-up area in seconds.
Who we are
A building performs only when its power, its cooling and its control layer are designed as one system. We hold all three — which is why our installations commission faster and still perform in year ten.
About Mecamac
Founded in Muscat in 2010 as a specialist electromechanical contractor, Mecamac has grown into four disciplines under one roof — smart buildings, HVAC, MEP contracting and mission-critical data centres — with its own factory, warehousing and engineering team in Al Misfah.
Vision
To be the GCC's reference contractor for buildings that cannot fail — where power, cooling and control are engineered as one system and proven before handover.
Mission
We design, build, commission and support electromechanical and building-automation systems for owners, consultants and main contractors in Oman and the GCC — holding the principal brands directly, fabricating in-country, and standing behind every installation through its working life.
How we work
In-country capability
A head office, factory and warehousing in Al Misfah, and a live experience centre in Qurum. When lead times move, these keep your programme date where you put it.

Our facilities
The room where consultants and clients test the system before it reaches the specification. ABB KNX, LifeSmart, Yale and Intesis running live.

Where the work is planned, the ductwork is made and the stock is held. The reason our programme dates survive a moving supply chain.
Key brands
Direct distribution and integration agreements with seven global manufacturers — genuine equipment, factory warranty, priority stock and trained engineers. Manufacturer authorisation letters are available for tender submissions.

Sole authorised distributor for the Sultanate. The full air conditioning range — VRF, packaged, ducted, cassette and wall-mount — stocked in Muscat with factory warranty behind every unit.
Air conditioning
Authorised integrator for ABB Building Automation in Oman — i-bus® KNX, DALI lighting and the Millennium switch ranges. Three consecutive ABB partner awards.
Building automation
The only authorised PalDuct CNC fabrication facility in Oman. Pre-insulated ductwork cut, closed and delivered from our own Al Misfah workshop.
Pre-insulated ductwork
A complete CoSS wireless ecosystem for finished properties — lighting, climate, sensing, cameras and scenes without chasing a single wall.
Retrofit automation
Keyless entry and smart locking integrated into the same scene logic as lighting and climate, rather than bolted on as a separate system.
Access control
Gateways that bring third-party HVAC plant, meters and legacy panels onto KNX, BACnet or Modbus instead of stranding them outside the head-end.
System integrationA hybrid smart-home ecosystem — wired PIERRE Pro for new build, wireless PIERRE Wave for retrofit — with lighting, shading, climate, access, intercom and sensing running locally on the controller rather than in the cloud.

Reference clients
Authorities, consultants, main contractors, developers and data centre operators — the organisations whose specifications we have satisfied and whose facilities we still maintain.
Client references with contact details are released with tender submissions on request.
Credentials
Every partnership we claim is documented. Certificates are issued to Consortium of Universal Builders Entrepreneurs LLC (CUBE LLC), the legal entity operating as Mecamac, and copies are released with tender submissions.

Recognition
ABB channel partner awards across successive years, manufacturer recognition and appreciation from government authorities.

Working with Mecamac
We maintain ISO 9001:2015 certification with current commercial registration, classification and insurance cover. Submissions include company and financial profile, project references with client contacts, key personnel CVs, HSE record, method statements and manufacturer authorisation letters for specified equipment.
Consultants, main contractors, EPC firms, developers, owners and facility operators — across the full chain. Most often we hold the MEP and specialist systems package under a main contractor; we also contract directly with owners and developers, and take main contracts where the scope suits it. The role and interface boundaries are stated at tender.
Because most cost and programme loss on complex projects occurs at the interfaces between packages. When automation, HVAC, electrical and construction sit with one contractor, those interfaces are internal — coordinated in design rather than negotiated as variations during installation.
Yes. We have executed MEP works inside operating colocation data centre halls without interrupting tenant service, governed by phasing plans, isolation permits, agreed windows and the operator's change-control regime. The same discipline applies to occupied hotels, offices and institutional buildings.
Direct distribution agreements give factory warranty, technical backing from the manufacturer, in-country stock that protects the programme, and authorisation letters that satisfy tender requirements. It also means the party specifying the equipment is the party accountable for its performance.
Send the drawings, the specification, or just the problem. Our engineers respond with a technical position, a programme they will stand behind, and a proposal without hidden edges.
